Patricia Domínguez has been selected to take part in the Screen Series at the New Museum in New York City. Curated by Madeline Weisburg, Screen Series is a platform for the presentation of new video works by emerging contemporary artists.
Patricia explains, “I have been developing my main body of work as long length video installations, where the main pieces are video art which go installed in a shrine, surrounded by different pieces such as sculptures, vases, watercolors and holographic projections. They all deal with multi species resistance myth, extraction and healing in South America. Around water crisis, overworking, mining and fires: ecological and social crisis.”
The exhibition will run from February 17th to June 5th.
