Feliciano Centurión’s first solo exhibition in Brazil opened on 12th March at Galeria Millan in São Paulo. Entitled Everyday Beauty, the show intended to demonstrate how the artist’s visual language emerged from a unique synthesis of his Paraguayan, Guaraní roots and the cultural environment of Buenos Aires between the 1980s and 1990s.
Despite the characteristically wide variety of materials, scales, styles, and colours, this exhibition demonstrated the balance and harmony that the artist’s work exudes. Despite his illness, Centurión’s work never ceased to be comforting, warm, and optimistic - a testament to the faith that he had in the power and affective potential of his art.
