We welcome you to the gallery for our Frieze Week Brunch, on Friday 13 October, 11am-1pm.
Address:
Cecilia Brunson Projects
End of Royal Oak Yard, Bermondsey Street

Sofia Gotti will be speaking about our exhibition Nitsäyphä: Wichí Stories, an exhibition of textiles by Claudia Alarcón and Silät, a collective of weavers from the indigenous Wichí communities of the Gran Chaco region.
This will also be an opportunity to view our exhibition Janet Sobel: 1940s, at the Heart of the New Vanguard. Sobel is one of the unsung pioneers of Abstract Expressionism and Surrealism. A Ukrainian immigrant in New York who turned to painting in her late forties, her work has often been framed as 'outsider' despite her central position in the city's art scene in the 1940s. As we endeavour to showcase artists who have been historically overlooked, we are pleased to share her work at this pivotal moment of re-evaluation, preceding the artist's 2024 retrospective at the Menil Collection, Houston.
